We're hiring! Flight Instructors - CFI and/or CFII

FAA Flight Instructor positions available: Junior and Senior CFI/CFII

The candidates must share our vision of excellence in instruction and be able to lead our students to successful completion of their flight and theoretical training. Must also be able to adapt to a variety of teaching situations and posses the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues and staff, in a climate that promotes professionalism and safe flying.

Core tasks:

  • Providing flight and/or ground instruction in accordance to Flying Academy and FAA regulations and procedures;
  • Developing course content, preparing schedules, maintaining records, ensuring the course standards, training requirements and objectives are met by each student in each flight course.


  • Perform flight/ground instruction in accordance with the FAA approval
  • Ensure all students understand and practice all aspects of safe flying.
  • Accurately maintaining all appropriate records: student training record, student logbook and e-records.
  • Recommend curriculum improvements when appropriate and develop new curriculum as assigned.
  • Attend administrative standardization, in-service training and instructor development meetings as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Flying Academy in Colombia - an enriching experience

Expo ColombiaOver a hundred schools and over two thousand students attended the Expo Estudiante 2016, which took place in Bogotá, Colombia last week. Flying Academy was part of this enlightening and colossal event. For us it was an honor to participate for the first time and we feel enriched by such an amazing experience.

Gerardo Arias - our partner in Colombia, Daniel Bustos and Sandy Gonzalez from Flying Academy Miami were providing information, inspiring students to find what they were passionate about and make their chosen careers more than just a job. They shared the joy they feel when flying as Pilots in our Academy and the endless opportunities a pilot has around the world.
